On the left-hand side of the screen, select from the index the type of item you require. You will need to do this repeatedly until you enter the department of products you are looking for. You can always select 'Home' at the top of the page to return you to the home index should you make a mistake.

When there are no more levels of indexes to select from, the right hand side of the page will change into a product listing. You can browse down the list to find the product you require. An indication of stock level may be found using the 'Check stock/currency' option (under the price) which also includes facilities such as currency conversion, cartridge page life estimates, guarantee details and sometimes other recommended products. Please note that you can only pay using the Euro and Dollar if you select to pay through WorldPay (see below).

Some large departments may be split into several pages. To navigate through these pages, click the back or next button at the bottom of the page.

Find the item you require from the list on the right hand side of the screen. If you require more than one of an item, change the quantity as shown next to the price.

To actually add an item to the basket, click the buy button, next to the quantity box. This will take you to the basket and checkout page, you can always visit this page by clicking 'Basket' at the top of the screen. Adding an item to the basket does not mean that you have purchased it. You need to fill in your address details and credit card details before a sale has been accepted.

To add more items to your basket you can jump back to a department by using the back button. Otherwise you will have to navigate the menus system on the left to get to the correct department and follow the instructions above.

To view your basket, click on the Basket option at the top of the screen. In the basket you can remove items and make quantity adjustments to your shopping choices.

To amend quantities, type in the required quantity next to each product and then click 'OK' next to the quantity. You can click on any 'OK' button and this will update all amended quantities.

You will also need to select your country area for shipping charges (if appropriate) and click 'OK'.

Please be sure to enter your email and physical addresses correctly. You will not receive an online receipt if you do not enter a valid email address.

Here you will be able to pay through WorldPay [Opens in a new window], through NoChex [Opens in a new window], through PayPal [Opens in a new window] or by cheque. You choose which type of card you wish to use (Visa/Mastercard etc) and the system will find an appropriate payment service for you. To pay by cheque, select payment by cheque instead of a credit or debit card type. Cheques must be made out to 'PC Ink' and we currently only accept GBP (£) for cheques.

PC Ink use one of the most reliable companies in the business: WorldPay [Opens in a new window]. They use a combination of 128 and 2048-bit encryption. This company is highly recommended by many major companies including the Natwest Bank [Opens in a new window]. You can choose to pay in UK Sterling Pounds, Euro or US Dollar if paying by credit card. If you still do not feel confident in credit card purchases over the internet, then you can post us a cheque payable to 'PC Ink' but this must be made out in UK Sterling.
