Privacy policy
- PC Ink only collect information that we require to fulfil your order. This is in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
- Customer details are not sold or given to any third party under any circumstances except to fulfil delivery purposes of your order. This may include giving your delivery address to the Royal Mail, a courier or an approved supplier who may arrange for delivery of your order.
- You will not be added to an emailing list, however you may receive emails with regard to your current open orders.
- On rare occasions we may need to email all previous customers and your email address will be kept for such purposes. For example we will inform you of any manufacturer recalls or Health and Safety warnings relating to products that you have purchased.
- Cookies are used within this site but can be blocked without causing any problem when shopping. Personal information is only stored by your express action by clicking 'Remember me' on the basket page, however this is entirely optional and is your decision.
- To comply with EU law, you may view the Cookies stored by this site. To view Cookies, visit our Cookie manager.
- Fraudulent orders will be blacklisted from ordering.
Guarantee
Every product comes with a complete 100% guarantee. This covers you for:
- credit/refund* or replacement for any faulty item up to one year* from date of purchase except for compatible cartridges which are covered for 90 days
- credit/refund* or replacement for any incorrectly ordered stock items
- full refund for any delayed items that are cancelled before despatch except for special order items where the product description states that these items cannot be returned or cancelled unless faulty
- refund for items cancelled before the estimated despatch date will be subject to a 5% charge to cover credit card processing fees
Security
- Please note the following regarding credit card use on the internet:
- All credit card and debit card payments can be made through the WorldPay secure server.
- WorldPay use 2048-bit security to record your transaction and 128-bit SSL security during transmission.
- We also accept payment through the NoChex email money system.
- Payment can also be made in GBP (£) using PayPal.
- If you still do not feel confident about internet security, you can send us a cheque or Postal Order in GBP (£).

Further security
- PC Ink will not have access to your credit card details if you pay via WorldPay, NoChex or PayPal from this site.
- The WorldPay, NoChex and PayPal systems guarantee that you cannot be overcharged.

Order of low value and quantities may be delivered Second Class. You will have the option of upgrading to First Class for a small surcharge if your order is urgent.
**Please note that orders for
paper products may incur an extra delivery charge based on weight. As it is not possible to display every combination of charges, please put the products in the basket and click on the basket button to display the carriage charge.
***Heavy orders may incur extra delivery charges to these areas due to higher costs of delivery.
Delivery timescales
- Most products have an estimation of the despatch timescale next to it.
- The majority of orders are despatched for a next day delivery.
- Products without a delivery timescale will usually take up to 28 days for despatch except for exceptional circumstances.
- Orders are not despatched on weekends or UK bank holidays.
- Irish, Island and Scottish Highland orders may be subject to an extended delivery.
- Some orders will be sent via a courier or by recorded post requiring a signature upon delivery. Goods which returned to us due to non-collection or due to no person available to sign will be classed as a return under the unwanted goods policy.
- Orders need to be placed before 15:00 (3:00pm GMT) to be able to qualify for despatch timescales quoted.
- Your credit card may be charged prior to despatch. This is due to a time limit between your purchase, our authorisation of your card and the WorldPay authorisation timescale. PayPal and NoChex payments are taken immediately.
- PC Ink cannot be held responsible for the industrial action of couriers or the Royal Mail and any delay caused by such reason is at the customers risk.
- We do not supply international orders.
- Orders placed for delivery to an international address (i.e. the customer has not selected the correct country for delivery on the basket page) and paid for by credit or debit card or by PayPal or NoChex will be refunded subject to a 5% administration cost to the customer, with the exception of payment by American Express or Diners cards or any payment through NetBanx which will be charged at 12% to the customer.
- Orders placed for delivery to an international address (i.e. any country not listed in the basket page) and paid for by another method will not be processed.
- Orders with requests to be left unattended if no person is available to accept the delivery will be classed as delivered by PC Ink if we obtain a proof of despatch.
Use of cartridges
- Compatible cartridges are not recommended for photographic quality use.
- Original cartridges should be used in conjunction with manufacturers recommended paper in order to achieve the best photo quality results.
- We recommend compatible cartridges for draft quality printing or printing blocks of colours.
Trademarks
- All trademarks belong to their respected companies.
- Compatible cartridges are not linked to the manufacturer in any way.
General
- Customers must pay for goods prior to despatch with exception of account customers.
- Account customers are required to pay for goods within 30 days of invoice.
- Customer accounts are available only to businesses and will only be opened at the discretion of PC Ink.
- Results of product searching through the PC Ink website or external sites shall be the responsibility of the customer to ensure the correct products are being purchased.
- Prices are subject to change at any time and without notice.
- All prices are subject to market fluctuations and all prices will be ruled at the time of human review of your order.
- Delivery and despatch times are estimates only and shall not be of the essence of the contract.
- All risk of products supplied passes to the customer at time of receipt.
- You card may be charged prior to despatch due to a transaction timeout facility used by WorldPay.
- Change cannot be given for overpayment by Postal Order.
- Junk faxes will be invoiced. See contact page for pricing.
- Competitors or persons selling similar items linking or referring to our pages without written permission from PC Ink will be invoiced to the price of £25+VAT per link, per day.
- Orders which are charged-back to the credit card will result in loss of the privacy section in the terms and details of the order may be given to third party companies including, but not limited to, fraud warning companies, credit card companies, courts, solicitors and other companies run by or those whose websites which have been designed by PC Ink.
Returns
- The customer must inspect the goods upon delivery and report the fault by writing (preferably by email) within 48 hours of receipt.
- Damaged goods must be returned to PC Ink within 14 days of receipt.
- Faulty printer cartridges must be returned with a print sample if appropriate to the fault.
- Faulty products accepted by PC Ink will be refunded in full or exchanged for a product of the same value.
- Accident damage, neglect or misuse of items will not be acceptable for return.
- Customers that have modified, rechipped or refilled cartridges will void their warranty.
- Incorrectly supplied consumable products (including inkjet and toner cartridges and writable media) cannot be returned if the box and/or seal has been opened, damaged or is missing.
- Carriage costs cannot be refunded except where the mistake is that of PC Ink.
- The customer shall pay any carriage costs involved in a return where the goods supplied are as requested and are not faulty.
- PC Ink will only arrange for collection from UK customers under special circumstances.
- PC Ink will not promise that any cartridges (including inkjet and toner cartridges and printheads) will last for a pre-determined amount of time or page length and will not be acceptable for return under this reason.
- Manufacturers may change products or specification and newer items cannot be exchanged for an older product on these occasions.
- Returned cartridges will be weighed and those deemed to be empty or near empty shall not be acceptable for return.
- Incorrectly ordered products or unwanted returns will be subject to a 20% restocking charge with a minimum £4 charge.
- Unusual goods that are returned as unwanted or are incorrectly ordered will be subject to a 35% restocking charge with a minimum £25 charge. Unusual goods are agreed to by the customer during the basket process.
- Unwanted goods must be returned to PC Ink within 14 days from delivery.
- Refunds will be made by the same method of payment
- Credit card chargebacks initiated by the customer prior to contact with PC Ink shall be invoiced to the customer at a cost of £35+VAT.

Acceptance of order
- Fulfilment of an order is subject to stock availability and PC Ink are under no obligation to accept your order.
- Failure to obtain authorisation for payment will result in cancellation of your order.
- The WorldPay payment system checks your address that you have typed in with that of the credit card statement address. Those orders which do not match may result in a delay or cancellation of your order.
- We do not accept orders where the delivery address is requested in the UK but the credit card is a non-UK card.
- Delivery will only be accepted to physical addresses only and PO Box number only deliveries may not be supplied.
- A full address must be supplied by you and include a full postcode and house number where applicable.
- Failure to provide a full address will result in a delay on your order.
- All fraud attempts are reported to the issuing bank and the police.
- Orders that have been delivered and have a failure to make payment due to fraudulent use of credit or debit cards or use of stolen credit or debit cards will be viewed as a sale of goods on account. Payment must be made within 30 days (plus a £50+VAT penalty) and PC Ink reserve the right to recover such funds using legal methods including, but not limited to, Small Claims Court and Baliffs.
- By completing the checkout with PC Ink website, you are making an offer to purchase the goods at the advertised price. PC Ink may refuse this offer.
VAT details
- Our VAT number is 809 2860 16.
- It is the customers responsibility to read these terms closely before placing an order.
*Credit usually takes up to 14 days, however, in cases where the items are needed to be verified by the manufacturer, a credit may take longer. PC Inks.
*Please note that some items are guaranteed for less than one year. Please refer to the manufacturer for full details. These include, but are not limited to:
- Compatible Cartridges
- All compatible cartridges are guaranteed for 90 days from date of purchase.
- Hewlett Packard
- Limited warranty for cartridges. Warranty is for one year from date of purchase. Any item causing print to be faded or of light type or where printers are indicating 'low life' message (if applicable) are deemed out of warranty by HP.
- HP Color LaserJet and Color LaserJet 5 supplies are guaranteed for 90 days from date of purchase.
- Kyocera
- All items except for toners are guaranteed for 90 days from purchase.
None of these terms or conditions affects your statutory rights.
