6k:This refers to the estimated number of pages this product will print when under strict manufacturer tests. The 'k' stands for one thousand. A 1k toner will print approximately 1000 pages and an 8k toner should be around 8000 pages.
Toner:Powder used in Samsung laser printers. This powder is transferred via the drum onto the paper using electrical charges. The toner is then heated and thus melts onto or into the paper.
