Canon are based in Tokyo, Japan. They started back in 1937 and quickly established themselves as a quality manufacturer or cameras and camera accessories although they were initially known as Kwanon and later changed the company name to Canon.

Products made today include printers, ink cartridges and toner cartridges, which can be bought at PC Ink. They still manufacturer cameras and related goods including scanners and now, computers too.

The staff at PC Ink have been long time fans of Canon products since the days of their Bubblejet printers. We are particularly fond of the inkjet printers which use individual ink tanks for each colour. These are very cost effective since multi-coloured cartridges require replacing when one of the colours runs out, even if the others are still full. Further, we find their printers one of the cheapest to run in general.

Over the years, Canon have made printers and cartridges for some competitors using identical parts inside the printers, simply rebranding the outside. This has happened for many years and shows the level of trust people within the trade have with Canon products.
